Hop Raider is a 2D platformer where you have to go as high as you can, jumping from platform to platform. The problem? Well, among other things, the volcano where the main character is has erupted, and the amount of lava is growing.
Hop Raider's controls are very well adapted to touchscreens. Your character will always be running from left to right, such that when he reaches the end of a platform, he runs in the opposite direction. By tapping the screen, you can jump from platform to platform, and the longer you hold your finger over the screen, the longer he'll jump.
Throughout the game, you can collect coins – as usual within this genre – to use to unlock new content. And, although at first you start with just one setting and two characters (suspiciously similar to Indiana Jones and Lara Croft), you can unlock many more.
Hop Raider is a platformer with a very straightforward approach and an entertaining gameplay. It also features charming retro graphics, and lots of 'familiar faces' to play with.
